Best wearable tech this holiday season

In August 2019, I made a pair of BLE connected brooches using two Bluno Beetle boards (see project Mother and Child - DFRobot Bluno Beetle). It was a pair of hand-sewn pouches with components inside, which were soldered together. The prototypes took a form of a pair of flowers that detect distance between the wearers. Starry Night 2.0

You may have seen the processes designer KtY posted about how to embed electronics in garments (tutorial here). The prototyping stage is manual and we've been exploring e-textile scalable and repeatable solutions. It is our greatest excitement to share our collaboration with NovaCentrix on bringing printed electronics into fashion ready-to-wear, through our newly released Starry Night shirt and its matching mask. We use electronics in fashion where it makes sense. A major theme in our design has been astronomy-inspired clothing. We are excited to launch our latest product - the Earth Dress, a high-tech ready-to-wear piece that can display images and animations based on the wearer's preferences.   This design underwent the longest development process and the most iterations among our products. The concept was first conceived in 2016 as a programmable color-changing dress. The print on the fabric was one of Designer KtY's astronomy-inspired paintings "the Chaotic Earth in a Peaceful Universe".
